These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases of sauna tents, infrared saunas, and traditional saunas from Reforge Wellness (“Seller,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By placing an order with Reforge Wellness, the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to all applicable laws, including Alberta's Consumer Protection Act and other applicable federal, provincial, and territorial legislation. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Products and Intended Use

All saunas sold by Reforge Wellness are intended for indoor use, unless a specific product is expressly identified by the manufacturer and Seller as suitable for another environment.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the location where the sauna will be installed is suitable, safe, dry, adequately ventilated, and appropriate for the specific sauna model purchased.

Customers must operate and maintain the sauna according to the manufacturer's instructions and all applicable safety requirements.

2. No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges

All sauna sales are final.

Reforge Wellness does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds due to:

Change of mind
Change in personal circumstances
Ordering the wrong size or model
Lack of available space after purchase
Failure to measure the intended installation area before ordering
Failure to confirm electrical requirements before ordering
Inability to access the intended installation location
Customer scheduling issues
Customer refusal or inability to accept delivery
Failure to obtain required electrical or building approvals
Any other reason unrelated to a covered manufacturing defect or a legal right to cancel under applicable law

Customers are strongly encouraged to confirm the product dimensions, electrical requirements, installation requirements, access requirements, and intended location before placing an order.

This no-refund and no-exchange policy does not limit or exclude any cancellation, refund, warranty, or other rights that the Customer may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where applicable law gives a Customer a right to cancel a transaction, that statutory right will apply notwithstanding this policy.

3. Order Confirmation

Once an order has been accepted and payment has been processed, the Customer is responsible for the purchase in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Before completing an order, the Customer should verify:

Product model
Product dimensions
Electrical requirements
Available installation space
Doorway and access dimensions
Delivery address
Delivery requirements
Installation requirements
Whether professional electrical work is required
Any additional delivery, installation, assembly, or electrical costs

4. Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Reforge Wellness, delivery is not included in the advertised product price.

Delivery charges may apply depending on the destination, product, distance, accessibility, and delivery requirements.

Reforge Wellness primarily sells and delivers products in Alberta but may arrange delivery to other Canadian provinces for an additional fee.

Delivery to another province is subject to product availability, transportation availability, applicable charges, and any other applicable requirements.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for the product.

Additional charges may apply where special delivery requirements exist, including but not limited to:

Long-distance delivery
Difficult or restricted access
Special lifting requirements
Additional labour
Waiting time caused by the Customer
Re-delivery resulting from the Customer not being available
Changes to the agreed delivery location

Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, delivery does not include installation, assembly, electrical work, moving the sauna into its final position, or removal of existing structures or equipment.

5. Installation

Installation is not included in the purchase price unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Installation, assembly, electrical work, and other related services are additional charges unless expressly included in the Customer's written quotation or invoice.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation area is prepared before the scheduled installation date.

Reforge Wellness is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from an installation location that is inaccessible, unsuitable, unfinished, or not prepared.

6. Traditional Sauna Electrical Requirements

Traditional sauna heaters may require dedicated electrical circuits and specific electrical connections.

Electrical connection of a traditional sauna must be completed by a qualified and appropriately licensed professional electrician.

The cost of the electrician is not included in the sauna purchase price unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

The Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the electrician.

The Customer is also responsible for ensuring that the property's electrical system is capable of supporting the sauna and that all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, permits, inspections, and other requirements.

Reforge Wellness is not responsible for electrical work performed by an independent electrician or other third party.

Reforge Wellness does not recommend that customers attempt to install or modify electrical connections themselves.

7. Infrared Sauna Water and Moisture Restrictions

Infrared saunas must not be exposed to rain, water, excessive moisture, or high humidity.

Infrared saunas are designed for indoor use in a dry environment.

An infrared sauna must not be installed outdoors, on an uncovered patio, balcony, deck, or other location where it may be exposed to rain, snow, condensation, excessive humidity, splashing water, flooding, or other moisture.

Water or moisture damage resulting from improper installation, placement, cleaning, storage, transportation, environmental conditions, or use is considered improper use and is not covered by the warranty.

Customers must follow all cleaning and maintenance instructions supplied with the product.

8. Sauna Tent Requirements

Sauna tents are intended for indoor use unless the specific product documentation expressly states otherwise.

The sauna tent must be placed on a stable, level, dry surface.

Electrical components must be protected from water and moisture.

The Customer must operate the sauna tent according to the manufacturer's instructions and must not modify, bypass, or alter electrical components or safety features.

9. Warranty

Reforge Wellness provides a lifetime warranty on covered infrared and traditional sauna electrical components against factory defects, subject to the limitations and exclusions described in these Terms and Conditions and any applicable manufacturer's warranty documentation.

The warranty applies only to defects resulting from manufacturing or factory-related defects in covered electrical components.

The warranty does not cover damage, failure, or deterioration resulting from:

Improper use
Misuse
Failure to follow manufacturer's instructions
Improper installation
Incorrect electrical installation
Unauthorized electrical modifications
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Water exposure
Rain
Excessive humidity
Flooding
Condensation
Improper cleaning
Physical damage
Accidental damage
Abuse or neglect
Improper storage
Improper transportation
Power surges
Incorrect voltage or electrical supply
Normal wear and tear
Consumable components
Cosmetic damage that does not affect operation
Use outside the intended purpose of the product
Damage caused by third parties
Damage resulting from circumstances outside the manufacturer's control

The lifetime warranty does not mean that every component of the sauna is covered for life. It applies specifically to covered infrared and traditional sauna electrical components affected by a factory defect.

The Seller may require photographs, videos, proof of purchase, serial numbers, product information, installation information, or other documentation before determining whether a warranty claim is covered.

If a warranty claim is approved, Reforge Wellness may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, repair or replace the defective covered component or provide another appropriate warranty remedy.

Warranty claims do not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund or replacement of the entire sauna.

10. Third-Party Installation and Electrical Work

Where installation or electrical work is performed by a third party, including an electrician, contractor, or other service provider, that work is the responsibility of the person or company performing it.

Reforge Wellness is not responsible for:

Third-party workmanship
Incorrect electrical connections
Electrical code violations
Damage caused during third-party installation
Damage caused by improper assembly
Damage caused by moving or transporting the sauna after delivery
Costs associated with correcting third-party installation work

The Customer should retain all invoices and documentation relating to professional installation and electrical work.

11. Customer Inspection Upon Delivery

The Customer should inspect the product and packaging as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Any visible transportation damage should be documented with photographs and reported to Reforge Wellness promptly.

Customers should not discard original packaging until the product has been inspected and confirmed to be in acceptable condition.

Reporting transportation damage does not replace or limit any legal rights the Customer may have under applicable law.

12. Delivery Delays

Estimated delivery dates are estimates unless a specific delivery date is expressly guaranteed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by transportation delays, weather, manufacturer delays, supply shortages, customs requirements, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Reforge Wellness.

If a legally applicable cancellation right arises because of a failure to deliver within a legally required period, that right will not be excluded by these Terms and Conditions.

13. Taxes and Additional Charges

Applicable taxes are charged in accordance with applicable Canadian provincial and federal tax requirements.

Delivery, installation, electrical work, assembly, permits, inspections, and other services are additional unless expressly included in the Customer's written quotation or invoice.

14. Out-of-Province Sales

Reforge Wellness is based in Alberta and sells products in Alberta.

Delivery to other Canadian provinces may be available for an additional fee.

Customers purchasing outside Alberta are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for complying with any applicable local requirements relating to installation, electrical work, permits, inspections, building requirements, or other regulatory requirements.

Where required by applicable law, taxes will be charged and collected in accordance with the applicable rules for the transaction.

15. Customer Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for:

Selecting a product appropriate for their intended use.
Confirming product dimensions before purchase.
Confirming that the sauna will fit through all required doors, hallways, stairways, elevators, and other access points.
Confirming the electrical requirements.
Arranging and paying for a qualified electrician where required.
Preparing the installation location.
Obtaining any permits or approvals required for installation.
Following all manufacturer instructions.
Using the sauna only for its intended purpose.
Maintaining the sauna properly.
Ensuring safe operation.
Providing accurate delivery information.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reforge Wellness is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense resulting from:

Improper use
Improper installation
Unauthorized modifications
Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
Exposure to water or moisture
Incorrect electrical installation
Third-party workmanship
Failure to prepare the installation location
Failure to obtain required permits or approvals
Customer-provided information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Events outside the reasonable control of Reforge Wellness

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

17. Compliance With Alberta Consumer Protection Law

Reforge Wellness complies with applicable Alberta consumer protection requirements.

The Customer's statutory rights under applicable legislation cannot be waived by a contractual term.

For example, Alberta's Consumer Bill of Rights confirms that consumers cannot waive or release their rights, benefits, or protections under the Consumer Protection Act.

Certain types of transactions may also carry specific cancellation rights. For example, Alberta provides cancellation rights for qualifying door-to-door sales and certain prepaid contracts.

Internet purchases can also be subject to statutory cancellation rights in circumstances established by Alberta's consumer protection legislation, including certain failures to provide required contract information or deliver goods within the required timeframe.

Where a statutory cancellation or refund right applies, Reforge Wellness will comply with that legal requirement regardless of the general no-refund policy in these Terms and Conditions.

18. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with Reforge Wellness, the Customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review the product information, dimensions, electrical requirements, delivery terms, installation requirements, warranty terms, and these Terms and Conditions.

The Customer agrees that these Terms and Conditions apply to their purchase, subject always to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
